When i first heard it I got to say, I didn't like it at all because it is so different from the gary jules verison(i hadnt hear the tears of fears version before i heard this) but then later on in the day, I found myself humming to the tune and now I really like this song!
But your right if you had hit those notes it would have been much better!
Its really great without them though.

thank you for taking the tiem to review even though initially you weren't a fan. i'm glad that it grew on you. it is a very different take on the song, but i tend to think that is cool. for example-knight rider theme song-cool as an orchestral piece, badass as a techno piece. some songs translate well into many genres and i was hoping this was one of them. i wish i had been a better singer back then...im more experienced as a singer as i was then...i think that was about 2 years ago that i completed this song....may have to try and redo it something. thanks SO much for the 10 and the 5, and for taking the time to listen!
